7 year old Granddaughter loves this set. She doesn’t usually take care of some of her things but keeps this set nice and tidy. Won’t let her little brother touch it. Lol Bought with a sketch pad and a kids drawing book and this made an awesome birthday gift for her. She likes to draw and this set is a great step up from markers and crayons. Enjoying the pastels and chalks a lot and makes an inexpensive introduction to other mediums like those. Case is nice but not very durable. Would be nice in a stronger box, awesome if it was wood. Would pay a higher price for that. The closure and handle are cheap plastic and the handle came off pretty quickly. We put it back into the hole and gorilla glued it. So far it’s working but she is not carrying it much. It stays on her desk or she will carry it by holding it like a book.
